History

Economy

Before the Crusaders forsook their homeland, all persons had full diamond armor, tools and weapons, with many having light enchantments applied to at least one piece of gear.

Government

The island was governed via  direct democracy for big decisions, such as electing a head of diplomacy and military. When no meetings were called the organizational structure was almost akin to a anarchic commune as there was minimal hierarchy and everyone already knew what needed to be done and did so with minimal communication unless detailed requests were made or special things were needed.

487 was unanimously voted to be the Head of Diplomacy, this position only granted him the ability to make binding agreements with other settlements, not necessarily power over others within the nation-state.

Foreign affairs

Prior to the Crusades, Nowy Madagaskar got all the eastern nations together and hosted a Summit of The East where the Eastern Wall was formed.
