New Hill Fort

History
On the second morning, 626 acclaimed 571 as their Captain, and called for 571 to lead them and the group of surrounding players out of the Tundra. 571 said they should follow the sun. The group of between ten and twelve travelled through a Taiga biome until they reached a Forest Biome, where they arrived by a lake.
The group decided to create a fort on a hill, with minor elevation from the ground, where farming skill was trained on Firefly bushes.
After surviving the night in the fort, the members of the fort migrated back down the hill to the lake to gain access to water, and established a skybase over it. The members of New Hill Fort went on to merge on fourth night with the 'North Skybase' to form Skycity.
Economy
New Hill Fort itself had no productive capacity. Participant_295 fished, whilst Participant's 581, 757 and 626 hunted cattle as the group travelled. Attempts were made to develop farming skills which came to fruition when the group descended the hill to create a skybase, building a small farm by the lakeside.
Government
Participant_571 was acclaimed the Captain of New Hill Fort, but decisions were taken on a horizontal basis by the members of the Fort. The name of the fort was suggested by Participant_626 and was selected by a vote.
Foreign Affairs
The populace of New Hill Fort, after forming their Lake Skybase, made contact with the 'North Skybase.' There were deliberations about whether contact should be made, but due to the fifty block proximity of the two groups of Participant's, contact was inevitable.
The populace of New Hill Fort federated with the members of the North Skybase to create Skycity.
Military
Participant_323 was the bravest member of New Hill Fort, and distracted a group of mobs to allow 571 to lead the group back down to the river so they could establish a skybase closer to a sustainable food source.
Culture
The members of New Hill Fort showed a tendency towards generosity, which would go on to influence the Culture of Skycity.

ohhhh that's what happened to that place. i remember i was one of the original members there but i died and found chickenheim while looking for new hill. imagine if i didn't die and ended up as a sky city citizen. scary stuff.
