Friendship Island
A small island due north of Twogypt and Seven Boats, far across the Great Ocean |
|
History
By the end of Session 1 and the beginning of 2, Friendship Island had a stone skybase on the eastern shore of Friendship Island.
The Island prospered as a friend to most nations in the Great Northern Sea region for several sessions. While not participating, representatives of Friendship Island supported Twogypt and Seven Boats in the First Seamen War, as the seamen had stolen from them during Session 3.
During the Second Seamen War in Session 5, the island was attacked, stormed, and looted by the Second Seamen. All beds were destroyed and the island was fully captured by Participants 989 and 885. By the time an armada had arrived from Seven Boats to recapture the island, the two had left, and the island was left abandoned as the Seven Boats army returned home.
Friendship Island
After the Sacking of Friendship Island, the island was occupied on and off over the next few sessions, notably changing hands between the Second Seamen and Twogyptian forces. No permanent population remained, however. The island still technically belonged to the Nation of Friendship Island, but no permanent population was re-established.
During the final days of the Second Seamen War during Session 12, Participant 989 began using Friendship Island as a base of operations, possibly alongside Participant 733. However, remnants of Friendship Island, along with forces from Twogypt, Seven Boats, and Mountainkeep, retook the island, and used it as a base of operations to fully destroy the Second Seamen Base in the far north.
Nation of Friendship Island
After the sacking, the remants moved far north, and founded the Friendship Island Stronghold. This continued to be their base of operations until the end of the event.
Economy
By the end of Session 1 and the beginning of 2, Friendship Island had a significant chicken population, as well as a small farming and mining operation.
Government
Unknown, by the time of last contact between Twogypt and Friendship Island there was a discussion on leadership, however the primary source had left before a decision had been made.
