Skycity
A skybase civilisation formed from three groups of Tundra refugees who followed the glorious sun to the promised land |

History
Session 1 A
On the first day, a group of 13 left spawn and found forest and grassland away from the tundra, forming what would become the Western Settlement of Skycity over a lake
On the second day, two other groups settled to the east and to the south. On the fourth night, 571, the Captain of the 'New Hill Fort' group, who had first settled on the hill above the lake Skycity is built over before building what would become the Eastern settlement of Skycity, went to the Western Settlement to propose the two skybases confederate.
However, the Western Settlement did not have a clear leader. To make sure the West was fairly represented 571 acclaimed 724 to be the leader of the Western Settlement. The Southern Settlement united together with Eastern and Western Settlements afterwards, and was then abandoned due to constant attacks from mobs. As all of the settlers were huddled together in their sky-bases to make it through the night, the now unified settlement was baptised "Skycity".
On the sixth night Western settlement's leader and blacksmith 571 was killed by 907. A Kill On Sight order was then decreed, as punishment for these crimes.
As Day 1 session A was winding down, Skycity's population shot up to 26 players.
Session 1B
When Day 1 session B started, the population exploded to around 35-40, peaking at 45. The wave of immigration worsened the food and tool shortages, and the population level proved to be unsustainable. This persistent destitution forced 724 and 571 to call the first meeting of Skycity. This meeting led to the appointment of ministers who directed new players to jobs. Ministries for all classes were created, with one head for each.
Despite this, Skycity continued to fail to feed its populace, leading to the Second meeting of Skycity, initiated by 571 and latter joined by 724. Some Participants suggested raiding, but the idea was largely opposed. Instead, the mob farm began construction under 101 and 877 to get string for fishing rods to improve food security.
Session 2A
During session 2A, the third meeting was called by 571 and 724 to take a headcount and strategize. They counted the population at twenty. They emphasized the need to improve Skycity's food security.
Iron, Gold, Redstone and Lapiz began to be extracted in greater quantities this session. Skycity entered the iron age when their blacksmith's 180 "Gold" was able to create iron armour. Thanks to the creation of a bucket, Participants 775, 581, and 626 expanded Skycity;s agricultural capacities, creating a steady supply of bread. 831 expanded the sugarcane farm below Skycity. 822 was close to becoming a trained healer but fell through a poorly constructed part of the base and perished, resetting progress.
At some point during the session, 571 and 724 both disappeared, leaving a deputy in charge. Shifts were given to each guardsman, to patrol the gate, farms, or mines (protecting a very hot and cool miner). Participant 957 was exiled for his violent tendencies. Skycity received visitors from other civilizations, hearing tell of the 'Monkey Kingdom,' Pitsberg. One visitor to Skycity reported his civilization possessed an enchantment table, and held what he claimed was a Sharpness III sword, as well as a God bow.
Session 2B
757 and 571 went to diplomatic mission in Greenhil. After the talks between Pitsberg, Greenhil, and SkyCity in the Greenhil chancery, the three cities entered a defensive pact. Plans were drafted to build a skyway between the cities to better facilitate trade and further interactions, and work began swiftly.
985 was left in charge, calling the fourth meeting of Skycity to direct an increase in mining. "The Baby Zombie Incident" took place, leading to multiple deaths, including of the head farmer 775. In response to multiple deaths and limited XP, the farmers formallyheld coalesceda intomeeting to discuss strategy. The farmers guild was revitalised, named the Aura Farmers Guild, and held a meeting to discuss strategy.. 626 was the only level 3 farmer remaining, so XP grinding strategies were devised and executed, leading to a huge boost in productivity. Three healers were able to start making bandages thanks to highly productive sugar cane farms, and Skycity's food security issue was finally declared solved.
10 Men from Chickenheim and a party from Black sheep arrived, questioning rumours Skycity wanted to attack them. Skycity denied the rumours, and peace was brought among the three civilizations. 757 called the fifth meeting to reassure the populace they were at peace, and the sixth to debrief. 985 was appointed as deputy leader.
Economy
Skycity had a rudimentary subsistence economy as of the end of session 1.
At the end of session 2, Skycity had some-what productive wheat and sugarcane farms, as well as limited but productive livestock farms with Sheep, Chicken and Cows. The economy was still based largely on the pooling of resources, and communal guild buildings began to be constructed. Skycity remained primitive compared to neighbours.
The dense population allowed for progression and industry, although dependent on good food security. Because of the industrious nature of Skycity, the inhabitants had access to a wide array of amenities.
Government
When Skycity was officially founded, 724 & 571 were acclaimed as co-leaders, as a guiding hand between the two primary settlements. In the first session, Skycity could be described as a Primitive Deliberative Democracy.
During the First large meeting of Skycity, ministers were divided, and jobs were dispersed between old and new players within the city. The ministry system was unstable due to the precarity of survival, but by the end of the second session, it was functioning.
Main Leaders: 571 724 | Diplomatic corps: 985 96 | Miner Leader: ??? |
Builder Leaders: 935 (osha) 101 (leader) | Blacksmith Leader: 180 | Healer Leader: 822 |
Guard Leader: 463 871 (Vice) | Farmer Leader: 775 581, 626 (Deputies) |
By the end of session 2, the power of Government in Skycity had increased, both at the Diarchic and Guild level. The Guilds feature prominently in the everyday life of Skycitizens, and will do so more if the current trend of guild-based communalisation continues. The Aura Farmers Guild is the largest, followed by the Builders.
Foreign Affairs
Skycity is a connected part of World 2's diplomatic community. Skycity has an open policy to outside Participants, as is typical of large sky base civilizations where policing all members is difficult. Skycity has concerned itself largely with domestic affairs as of session 2.
Just before the end of Session 1 the Participant_463 and Participant_571 lead an expedition of 5 players into the lands of Greenhill with which they established formal and positive relations. By the end of session 2, a bridge of allyship had been created between the two Civilisations, and a defensive pact signed.
In Session 2B, a formal embassy of Black Sheep Island was established in Skycity.
Skycity has a defensive pact with Pitsberg.
The arrival of ten well-armed full enchanted iron Armor Participant's from Chickenheim sent panic through Skycity, and rumours of a raid spread. Peace was reaffirmed between the civilisations, however.
Military
The "Military" Is officially commanded by Participant_463, leading a small force of guardsmen.
Culture
The Skycitizens, though a rudimentary civilization, have showed a tendency towards pacifism, generosity, and an openness to wanderers.
Most Skycitizens stay within the refuge of the city and rarely wander out. The sky platform ensures a safe space for its inhabitants away from mobs, or so they'd like to think. The rustle and bustle of the city necessitates writing or finding private areas for conversation, for it's often hard to hear or be heard within the swarm of voices.
Since there is always some project going on, the average Skycitizen is always busy... Or should be, anyway.

Notes:
Population is probably inaccurate due to the amount of people within Skycity, making it hard for Chroniclers to judge.
