Class Interactions
The minerMiner is the first step in the process of improving gear. They mine ores of increasing value in tandem with their increasing level. The next step is the blacksmithBlacksmith, who can turn the ores into tools and armor. The miner in turn requires improved pickaxes, which can be supplied by the blacksmithBlacksmith in quantity. Therefore, the two classes often work hand in hand to benefit both.

(?) If a miner attempts to mine a block of a higher level requirement, the block won't drop but the miner will still get XP from breaking the block. It is therefore wise to mine pure Deepslate at Level 0, because you are not depriving others of a resource (like you would for an ore) but can more quickly advance to Level 1.
