Player 341 - "Xibur"
Participant 341, known as "Xibur," was the "God King" of Bridge Valley (South) for the duration of its short existence. In Session 4, he traveled to Fungaia and later the Levant as a refugee, settling in the latter and eventually becoming its third-in-command. |

About
341 has a loud and commanding voice when he uses it properly, which served him well in his leadership positions; his manner of speaking made a few people think he was a popular YouTuber. He is very friendly, but can be given to bouts of irritation when under pressure. He is able to effectively manage large groups of people, though by his own admission this is a stressful activity that he would delegate to others if he had the chance.
History
Within twenty minutes of the start of Session 1, it became clear to the players of Savannah Prime (Event 2, Trial 4) that remaining within the spawn radius of their world was untenable. Not only was there nothing but barren savannah as far as the eye could see – populated only by some rabbits and a sprinkling of acacia trees – but they had spawned in at night. They had immediately been besieged by hordes of hostile mobs, and many of them climbed the trees to take refuge. In the daytime, the vague consensus was that the group (of between thirty and forty people) had to find water in order to grow crops and thus create their first sustainable food source. There was no leadership initially, however, and players simply milled about somewhat aimlessly. 341 was frustrated with this sluggishness, and arbitrarily commanded the group to "follow me if you want to live." Having made up his mind that he would strike out alone if it came to it, he was surprised to find that the majority of the group followed him.
They traveled south away from spawn, and it wasn't long before they discovered a narrow bay flanked by high mountains on either side. A rudimentary farm was set up at the water level, and – seeing that the sun had set – 341 instructed the others to build a bridge across the middle of the bay upon which to set up camp. Though this bridge was completed in time, many players still died in the first few nights, mainly from hostile mobs. 341 was proclaimed king of the settlement, which at that point did not have a name. The population of the sky-base settled around 30 people, and he managed them effectively into updating the sky-base with stone bricks and building larger farms. He would call regular meetings at the beginning and ends of sessions, standing atop a dirt block or chest as a rudimentary soapbox to command attention. By the middle of Session 2, the settlement was dubbed "Bridge Valley," and 341 – having died and come back to the settlement after an early attack by an unknown player – was given the epithet of "God King" and a shrine made in his honor by 815 ("Testificate").
During Session 2, the true nature of 751 was revealed to the settlement. 341 had been informed initially of repeated attempts on the life of player 46 by 751, who denied any wrongdoing. 341 had put 751 under supervision, but this didn't last; 751 repeatedly attacked the settlement, killing 341 three times and breaking beds and chests before being himself subdued. Each time, 341 made his way back from spawn and resumed command as if nothing had happened, which arguably prolonged the nation's existence.
At the beginning of Session 3, he joined the game only for a short period. He had to attend a doctor's appointment in real life, and set about creating a system of government for Bridge Valley in his absence. He created guilds for each class and held elections for the leaders of each guild. He also recognized that there needed to be some overarching figurehead so that the chain of command didn't become muddied and break down; after consulting with the Guild Heads and holding another election, it was decided that there was to be a dual regency consisting of 907 and 417 ("Jet"). After about forty minutes, he logged off. When he returned for Session 4, Bridge Valley had been decimated. 751 had attacked again, this time with armor and weapons, and had trashed the entire settlement. The regents broke off into different directions and much of Bridge Valley's population had scattered into the wind. 341 declared Bridge Valley dissolved and abandoned it, leading a small group of refugees to Fungaia.
Upon arriving at Fungaia, he was heartened to find that many other refugees from Bridge Valley had also gone there (given that it was one of the few nations – built as it was in a mushroom biome – that did not have naturally spawning hostile mobs). He took up mining briefly, and seemed ready to integrate into Fungaian society when 751 suddenly showed up on the shores of the island nation. One of the leaders of Fungaia – player 883 ("Gavin") – wanted to parley with 751, which elicited a loud clamor of condemnation from the Bridge Valley refugees nearby. 341 added his voice to the crowd, but 883 did not listen (and, indeed, talked down to the Bridge Valley refugees as if they were errant children). During a mining escapade a few minutes later, 883 led 341 into a cavern with a lot of hostile mobs; in the ensuing escape attempt on both their parts, 341 ran out of hunger and was slaughtered by the mobs.
Because he had no bed in Fungaia, 341 respawned in the world's original savannah biome. He traveled up and down the coast line for a few days on his own, visiting another abandoned settlement (which later turned out to have been Bridge Valley East) before heading back to the ruins of his own and starting to cannibalize it for stone bricks. His intention at this point was to become a hermit and build a lighthouse base somewhere to the far south of the map. This plan was thwarted, however, when he was happened upon by 578 ("Levantus"), who he had known previously as an emissary of Fungaia during Session 2. 578 convinced 341 to come to his new settlement, which he called "the Levant." Here, 341 ran into another Bridge Valley refugee – 571 ("Fives"), former head of the Farmers' Guild – and decided to settle there permanently.
In the Levant, he was appointed temporary head of the Levant while both 578 and 850 ("Plant") were either offline or engaged elsewhere. He specialized as a builder, on several occasions nearing Grandmaster of that class before being dispatched by baby zombies while helping to create the Levant's ground-level structures. He would welcome emissaries from other nations and wandering traders with warmth and goodwill, occasionally touring them around the Levant's primary sky-base (which expanded exponentially in the middle sessions of Event 2). On one of these occasions he spotted and confronted 751, who had waltzed into the Levant seemingly unnoticed. No violence occurred, and 751 disappeared down one of the nearby rivers a short time later.
On another occasion, foreign dignitaries in full diamond armor appeared in the Levant asking where the World Council meeting was going to be held. Under the impression that it was to be in Redwater, he and 571 led the group there only to discover that a custom "United Nations building" had been constructed near spawn. 341 retrieved a lodestone compass that 578 had left for him and led the group to this building. He and 571 decided to stay and watch the events of the world meeting unfold. This turned out to be a serendipitous choice, for 751 appeared at the meeting requesting to turn himself in. A trial was held, during which 341 gave a short speech detailing 751's crimes against Bridge Valley; at its conclusion, 751 was found guilty and sentenced to be kept in a custom prison. This never occurred, however, as 751 broke loose through the floor of the building and was chased into the surrounding area, where he was eventually killed. 341, 578 and 571 quickly returned to the Levant to ensure that 751 did not respawn near them and grief their settlement.
During the last session, he helped 578 gather the citizens of the Levant for one last meeting, then embark on an expedition to a number of other nations accompanied by the members of a variety of other nations, with their end goal being to reach Sunrise Peninsula and their custom-built Olympic stadium. The group traveled first to Rhode Island, then to Attican City (where he was reunited with 815, who he had not seen since the collapse of Bridge Valley); then to Redwater, Lost Pilgrimage, the Selected Society, Cliffwater, Nautilus, Exodus, and finally Sunrise Peninsula. He competed as the Levant's challenger for the spleef competition, though he did not place in it. He also joined the final PvP challenge versus 751, which was cut short by the shrinking world border finally catching up to the Olympics. Just after the end of Event 2, he penned the Ballad of Bridge Valley.
