The Aura Farming Guild

The Aura Farming Guild is the sole Farming Organization in Skycity and takes care of all public Crop Farming as well as Animal Husbandry.

It's purpose is to provide Skycity with enough Food to sustain it's large population.

History

Foundation

The Aura Farming Guild was formed during the first Meeting of Skycity in Session 1B after the Leaders 571 and 724 ordered every Profession to elect a Representative. The Representative that got elected unanimously was Player 775.

The XP-Crisis

After losing all level 3 and 4 Farmers at the end of Session 1A and 1B, the Aura Farming Guild, and subsequently Skycity, suffered a major setback in their Foodproduction. This, along with a patch between Session 1A and B removing the "Leaf Exploit", a Bug which made tilling dirt give Builder instead of Farming XP and a high mortality rate among Farmers, caused an XP-Crisis preventing any Farmer from reaching level 2.

The subsequent harvest failures only fueled Skycity's ongoing Famine leading to death and desperation among the Population throughout all of Session 1B.

The proposed Solutions to fix the crisis were designating a few farmers as cooks and sending out farmers on expeditions to harvest as much grass as possible.

During the restart during Session 2A the "dirt tilling Bug" was resolved, giving Farmers a reliable way of leveling up their Farming level. Along with the mortality rate plummiting due to the establishment of the first Skyfarms, the XP Situation began to get better allowing more and more farmers to reach level 2 or 3. With harvests returning to normal levels again by the end of Session 2A the Food Situation began to stabilize and Skycity's famine came to an end.

Agressive Expansion

With the average level of Farmers increasing, the main Priority of the AFG became the expansion of the farmlands to make sure Skycity never starved again, leading it's way towards a brighter future.

Organization

Leader

The Leader of the AFG has the task of coordinating all public Farming activity in Skycity. They distribute Tasks, register new Farmers, plan expansions of the Farms, decide on the amount of animals slaughtered as well as other tasks delegated by Skycity's Leadership.

Ever since it's foundation, Player 775 "Hazmat" was the only Leader of the AFG

Deputy

Deputies are the Leaders Second Hand. They relay messages from the Leader to all Farmers and vice-versa. In the Case that the leader is unavailable, the Deputies take over their Tasks.

The Current Deputies are Players 581 "Mooshroom" and 626 "Zeus"

Farmer

The Farmers Job is to harvest Crops, breed animals and cook Food to ensure that the Citizens of Skycity are well fed and ready to perform their Duty

Every Member of the AFG is a Farmer, regardless of their Rank or Level.
