Bridge Valley
Bridge Valley was a settlement founded during Session One of Trial Two by its God King (Participant 341) who, followed by a group of players out of their savannah spawn biome, established a sky base in a narrow mountain valley atop a bay. It was initially confused with "New Bridge Valley," a settlement that later changed its name to the Sunrise Peninsula and which had been founded by a few former members of Bridge Valley. It had a thriving community until the third session, at which point it was ravaged by griefing attacks. It was formally dissolved at the beginning of Session 4. |

History
Within the first twenty minutes of the start of Session One, 341 led an exodus out of the world's savannah spawn in order to find water for farming. Upon finding a small ocean bay nestled in a valley between two steep cliffs, he instructed those who followed him to build a farm and a bridge-like sky base between the cliffs to protect them all from mobs. 341 was proclaimed King of the new nation, which that same session took the name Bridge Valley. Over the next two sessions, he continued to manage the nearly thirty-person settlement on his own; the sky base was expanded extensively and the Iron Age was reached. For his stalwart leadership, he was called the "God King." A second group of players formed a similar settlement to the northeast and also referred to their settlement as "Bridge Valley" (now referred to as "Bridge Valley East"), which confused some respawned players; they later made their way eastwards across the ocean, creating a town known as "New Bridge Valley" (later the Sunrise Peninsula). New players continued to join the original Bridge Valley during Session Two since it was so close to spawn and provided housing from the cruel night, bolstering its numbers.
During Session Three, the God King created a formal government structure featuring class-based Delegates and a Dual Regency (consisting of Participants 907 and 417), as he was going to be offline for the remainder of the session. While he was gone, the criminal known as the "The Bridge Valley (South) Slasher" raided the settlement and destroyed its farm, chests, and beds. There was an attempt by the regents to relocate the civilization, but this fell apart due to player confusion, as well as the strong mobs during the night. This attempt was led by the delegate of the Miner's Guild, "Jet", whose inexperience with the terrain and necessities of leadership caused many players with high-level professions to die. This along with 907 failing to keep things in check back at the main civilization caused it to fall into anarchy. When the God King finally returned in Session Four he found the civilization virtually empty, and declared Bridge Valley dissolved. Former members of this civilization settled in Fungaia, the Levant, and Attican City.
Economy
During its existence, miners were the most prominent class with around seven or eight members. All other classes, though numerous at the beginning - around five people apiece - dwindled as the sessions continued or re-specialized.
Government
At first, the nation was led by the God King on his own. Due to the chaos that comes with running a settlement of that size, he later created a guild system with Delegates (heads of their respective guilds) and Deputy Delegates (who would take over as Delegate in the event the original Delegate went offline). He also created a Dual Regency in case he were to go offline himself, made up of the Miners' and Healers' Delegates (417 "Jet" and 907) – one for the brute labor that the world forces us to endure, and one for the helping hand that guides us to the light of tomorrow.
Foreign Affairs
Bridge Valley was on friendly terms with Fungaia before the latter's relocation, and many players fled to Fungaia's new location once Bridge Valley collapsed in search of a better life, including the God King 341 (who later took the name "Xibur") though he later relocated to the Levant.
Military
Bridge Valley never had much of an organized military, though a few players did attempt to specialize as Guardsmen before the attacks that crippled the civilization. At its largest, it only had two specialized guardsmen, only one of which was at a sufficiently high level to reap any benefits from the class.
Culture
Where the God King first died inside the sky base, there is a small shrine covered in redstone dust (from a brief period at the beginning of the Trial when players who died dropped redstone as "blood").
