History
Lumber Coast began during Session 2 when player 427 "Oak" planted a tree in the desert, creating a place where new players stuck dying on the open sands could gather wood and cook food on a campfire. Other early Lumber Coast members include players 436 and 679. At first, they only had a small wheat farm, getting the majority of their food from apples and rabbits. Later in the session, road builders would provide Lumbarians with carrots.
During session 3, player 650 allegedly raided Lumber Coast by breaking their only bed as well as breaking their chests and crops.
Towards the end of session 5, a massacre occurred in Lumber Coast involving the deaths of multiple members and the attacker. This insinuated a global paranoia over lone raiders and a heated discussion as Kustlandia leadership were at first accused of plotting the attack. This controversy led to Lumber Coast's spotlight in world politics as nations like Kustlandia, The Promised Land, and The Ducklands reached out for diplomatic and journalistic purposes.
During the following period of population growth as more newcomers decided to join the commune, Lumber Coast became the hub for terrorists such as player 202, who would also then represent the nation when interacting with diplomats and foreign leaders despite being mostly temporary residents. This led to a rise in internal tensions between them and the sedentary Lumbarians only interested in peaceful development, blaming terrorist presence for the rise of incidents such as the arsonist sandman 945's burning of a few trees in the tree farm at the end of session 8. During session 9, 202 was eventually tracked down by Promised Land guardsmen and given up by Lumbarian players for the sake of preventing a war against the entire settlement. Other Lumbarian terrorists and sandmen entering the settlement following this would either be driven off, killed, or imprisoned.
In the midst of Promised Land's notable arson incident and a rise of traffic arriving at Lumber Coast, player 445 journeyed to Promised Land and entered despite the lockdown to seek an audience with President Red shortly after his "War onOn War" speech to the entirety of his nation. This clarified the internal situation of terrorists to Promised Land leadership and civilians.
During session 13, not many players were online. However, Lumber Coast still received many visitors. Early in the session, LibrarianLibrarian, 921 and Player 601 would visit. They discovered that Lumber Coast was at the center of the world, as it aligned in the middle of all the maps. The Librarian gave the online Lumbarians a book to write the story of Lumber Coast. Later that same session, The Jester would come and invite everyone to his wedding happening halfway through session 14. He also took the liberty of stealing the entire Lumber Coast food stock(including blessed food). The recently recruited Player 368's farming helped minimize the impact of the food loss.
In the chaotic finale of session 14, Lumber Coast somehow weathered the constant ransacking, arson, and murders through the tireless efforts of 679,679, 436, and 206 repairing damages and fending off waves of better-equipped terrorists. Eventually, as spawn points were demolished across the world, many respawning refugees made their way to Lumber Coast and gathered for the final moments of the trial. Player 445 and 259 brought an eclectic assortment of treasures and gear from their journeys that session to visit each nation amidst the chaos, and these treasures were split among the players at a banquet table.
In the end times, Lumber Coast stood as the last nation of trial 0.
Economy
The namesake wood farm served the most important economic factor in the infancy of the nation and the allure it had in gaining members, but has declined in economic significance and is mostly a source of fuel and building material for the commune. Lumber Coast has multiple farmers and builders that contribute food(mostly carrot and newly imported sweet berry) and shelters. Mining is a rarer role considering the especially hostile caves. A single blacksmith upholds the commune by providing stone and recently iron tools upon request, and a single healer is responsible for blessing food in communal storage.
Most storage of resources like food and building materials are currently held communally in a small lodge called The Rabbit's Foot. A few individuals have their own homes.
Government
Currently the Lumber Coast has a loose communal structure where individuals provide services/resources to the nation whilst all holding equal standing. However, lumbarians who have stayed the longest or fill more specialized roles tend to carry more respect and initiative in directing commune-wide decisions.

Culture
Lumbarians are generally quite peaceful, as long as they aren't directly targeted, they will normally be peaceful with the exception of some more aggressive members. The more dedicated Lumbarians would repair any damage done during attacks. The members realized that Australia was not a safe place to live, however, despite this, they decided to continue living on the coast. Lumbarians are generally provided with any resources that are available at Lumber Coast. Outsiders will usually be provided with basic resources, such as food and tools, upon request however, known terrorists are usually met with skepticism.
