Geography
The Whole
Trial 0 started with players in a desert biome, with ocean to their north and west, and mesa to their south. This resulted in players spreading out across a sea to more verdant shores. These included a jungle biome to the north, and savannah and plains biomes to the west.

The Spawn Desert
North of the "Australia" badlands, this area is the most common place to spawn. Lumber Coast lies in the south-western region of this desert. The lack of food and shelter made the desert a hostile and unforgiving spawn during the early sessions before players founded settlements elsewhere. Scattered pillars of rubble used for pathfinding can be seen across the dunes meant to guide new players. Rabbits serve as the only wildlife.

Australia
South of the Spawn Desert and of Lumber Coast is a large badlands mesa that encompasses the spawn radius. Some players only refer to the badlands as "Australia", while others use it to refer to the whole spawn continent. Containing a river and a rumored lake and island further east, no known large settlements have developed in the badlands of Australia, and the region is mostly used for harvesting terracotta. North of the badlands, the Spawn Desert contains Lumber Coast.

The Promised Land
The Promised Land is a large coastal savannah biome in the south of the known world, and the home of the Promised Land and Beach Town nations. The area is composed of spacious flat tracks of land interrupted by small cliffs and hillsides. To the south, temperate forests and small lakes break up the savannah. Due to the distance from world spawn, the strength of hostile mobs in the Promised Land is higher and they pose a significant threat in dark areas. Native wildlife include chicken, pigs, and sheep.

The Central Sea
The Central Sea is an essential part of the majority of civilizations. It is the sea east of The Promised Lands, west of Australia, and south of "Geography." It is used by many players to quickly travel between nations. A few bridges have been built across this sea to make navigation and travel between nations more accessible.

The Jungle
North of the Central Sea lies the lush coastline and dense interior of the jungle biome. A plethora of settlements/nations have formed in this region due to the abundance of resources. The waterfront extends both further north into the Jungle Gulf between Madagascar and Duckland and eastward into a lagoon housing smaller states like Elpida and Sanctuary. The shoreline itself is mostly clear and level due to player activity removing trees and flattening farmland, whilst the interior forest is still densely wooded with natural food sources like cocoa and melon. Due to the distance from world spawn, the strength of hostile mobs in the Jungle is higher and they pose a significant threat in dark areas. Wildlife include cows, pigs, parrots, chicken, and elusive ocelot.
