History
Rhode Island has a complicated backstory. The first settling of what would eventually be named Rhode Island was by the people of The Levant at an attempt to migrate from their skybase upriver. It ended in misfortune, with the population being driven off by a horde of Drowned during its first night.
The island remained abandoned for a while until its second settling by a former member of the Levant, 676, who built a tower at its center. Over time, various people would arrive at its shores, many being lost travelers or people struggling to survive.
