History
Session 1A:
A group of 12 players formed quickly after Session 1A began. Wandering the vast desert together in hopes of finding trees. As night approached, the group found a mangrove swamp and crafted their first set of boats and tools.
During the first night, the group set up a small sky base near a desert mountain, but to their surprise no hostile mobs spawned. During this awkward few minutes of discovering that no mobs spawned, two of the twelve players were lost.
The group decided to take advantage of the lack of mobs to explore further away from the desert, eventually arriving at a small area of Jungle and Oak trees. After settling down and doing a final headcount an additional two players were lost during the trip over.
A sky base was established and the group managed to craft their first bed before the 2nd night fell. Player 704 set their spawn point at this bed and drowned themselves to regain their HP.
During the 2nd night, the group came together in a circle and decided to give each other roles and nicknames:
- The player who had been leading everyone up to this point, 690, was named General. He volunteered to take on the role of organizing the chests at the temporary sky base and filling in any roles that needed extra attention.
- Player 704 was named Sheik, for their middle eastern style clothing. He volunteered to take on the role of being the builder.
- Player 745 was named Cat, for the cat ears
theirhis avatar had. He spent most of his time fishing, but eventuallybeganbecameprogressinga Healer after devouring huge amounts of food, including over a stack of cookies, theHealersoundclass.of which drove his comrades insane. - Player 394 was named Business Man, for he wore a suit and tie. He volunteered to take on the role of the Miner class. Halfway through
- Player 239 was named Girl, since the group agreed that there needed to be an obligatory girl and because his skin was female. They volunteered to take on the role of the Farmer.
- Player 898 named themselves Sunny, and he volunteered to take on the role of the Miner class.
- And lastly, Player 235 named themselves Frog, as their skin wore a frog hat and bright green. They volunteered to take on the role of the ??? class.
The group built a large wall of dirt and planks around their base and lit up the ground, but it did not stop mobs from spawning. Many players died to skeletons and creepers, including a farmer and a blacksmith, whose loss convinced the group to move. Their numerous expeditions that scouted settlements to join always turned back because they found more people who wanted to join Promised Home. Eventually, there were enough for the civilization to continue and it was decided that there would be no moving. Many farms were torn down and had to be rebuilt as a result of this.
Eventually, the walled ground was lit up properly and numerous dark mines were blocked off. The group eventually started staying on the ground at night but mobs would still occasionally break in by destroying the dirt wall.
