History
~Session 1~
Ithaca was founded as a lush and fertile escape from the desolate wasteland of the Star Swept Desert (Spawn Desert). The land was discovered by player 021 by following the river south of the Aratel Sea, following this, he placed torches from there all the way to spawn as an invitation to any newcomers to find a permanent home away from the desert. During this venture, the Shattered Savanna Skybase collapsed due to a lack of interest and many went north to a small river base. 021 arrived there from spawn and led them south to the plains and forests where they built a skybase to survive the first night at the end of session 1.
~Session 2~
The skybase grew, torches lit up the ground, wheat and sugarcane were planted and the torch path invited many travellers and explorers to this green paradise, but not all ventures went so well. 021 went north to an Acacia skybase over the Aratel See and convinced the 6 member group to migrate to the plains, this would turn out to be a disaster as 021 died on route, when he returned, only 2 players remained (one of whom was a traveller from Nautilus who would return home). It was because of these deaths on the water that 021 decided to name the new town Ithaca after the homeland of king Odysseus from Homers Iliad and 021 took the nickname "Shepard".
Diplomatic relations were established between the Ithaca and Akratia by 021 "Shepard" and 690 "General".
~Session 3~
The iron age was well underway, the skybase expanded, more players arrived.

Economy
Ithaca's economy is fast growing due to a lit up pathway leading from spawn, welcoming travellers from Nautilus and farther.
Government
Ithaca operates as a commune of sorts with 021 "Shepard" as the agreed upon leader but all issues are discussed and managed collectively.
Foreign affairs
Ithaca is forming a confederation with Akratia and is friendly with the Seamen of Blackwater.
Military
Ithaca possess guardsmen and many individuals clad in iron armour.
