Chickenheim

Chickenheim is settlement found roughly north from spawn on a peninsula. The central hub is a floating market above the ocean and shore. However, recently a wall has been built and homes have been established on land.

The civilization is somewhat advanced, with the majority of citizens equipped with at least half iron armor.

History

Chickenheim was formed when 2 neighboring settlements merged for safety and security. Since, it has expanded and grown in prosperity. During session 2 of day 1, the nation's first healer was able to finally craft bandages, which marked the turning point in technological advances, with the common distribution of iron following during session 1 of day 2. The only other relevant events since have been a recent bed robbing affair (that citizen's suspect to have been foreign), and a infestation of mobs in the mines (which has since been somewhat resolved).

Economy

The economy is somewhat communistic, with most resources being openly available to the public via the storage. However, there is a blacksmithing forge where miners deposit stone and exchange iron in return for desired gear from the blacksmith. Additionally, food is always readily available for taking, since most choose to fish during the night and there is an overabundance of berries (via the farm outside).

The class distribution is somewhat skewed, with there being a larger amount of miners than the rest of the classes. Because of this, the nation is quickly advancing through the different tiers of tools and equipment, with enchanting being just on the horizon.

Information on the current class dispersion is readily available on organized signs in the market.

Government

There is no specific leader of Chickenheim. The closest thing to a ruler are the few blacksmiths and healers since they offer the most utility to the nation (and therefore have the most power).

The prominent figures of the structure of Chickenheim are the local medic (participant 777) and the head blacksmith (forgot his number but I'll update this next session).

Foreign affairs

There have been almost no foreign affairs so far, with the only communication with other nations being passerby's in boats and infrequently sending requests to trade (none of which being actually executed yet).

Military

Although pvp combat has not yet occurred, there are a few guardsmen to handle the mobs. Most of the fighting is either to protect the base from attacking mobs (mostly spiders and phantoms) or to rid the mines of hostiles to allow for the miners to continue extracting resources.

Culture

The only notable piece of culture are the few chickens in boats that are kept in the middle of the market (for some reason). Although the name of the nation is derived from said chickens, they are rarely mentioned or interacted with.

Banner

No flag or banner has been agreed upon or discussed (the one on this page is a placeholder I made in ms paint). One will likely arise soon however, so this will be updated at some point in the future.
