An island for fellow Black Sheep by those of a similar nature. Some are byThe Black Sheep bypopulation choice,has circumstance,slowly orincreased dueas to..stragglers consequences.from failed civilizations wandered outward. Hidden far beyond the icy tundrastundra of spawn, this is one of the most technologically advanced civs.civilizations. This fact may be due to the communal government structure or protectability from mobs. It is speculated that Black Sheep Island currently has the greatest technology per capita of any civilization. In addition to Black Sheep Island itself, the nation makes claim to the nearby island, "Turtle Fu*k Island." This is a turtle breeding ground, fully uninhabited by players.

History

Founded Session 1 on a island with black sheep. Accepted lost refugees from the 1000 March session 1 and 2 as their own. During sessions three and four, the civilization beautified the island, indicating that the society had reached a form of stability.

Economy

Fish and Sheep. All resources are held in common via centralized storage, savewith forthe whatexception of partially manufactured good such as iron, which is held in one'sthe personalsmithy inventory.for tool-making. Players live and work together communally. 

Government

Tribal Communal- no official government structure or hierarchy. Decisions are made either by group consensus or by deferring to most experienced / persuasive individual. There is no official leader.

In substantial decisions, the group utilizes equal voting among members to find consensus.

Foreign affairs

While mostly isolated, theyBlack Sheep Island has positive relations with both Chickenheim and Sky City. No other civilizations are known to have managedcome into contact with the Island due to beits onrelatively goodobscure terms with occasional wandering traders and the good people of Chickenheim, engaging in gift giving and trades.location.

Military

Hit em til they die... or run. While the Island has little in the form of outwards military, several guardsmen exist as well as a variety of measures put into place to protect from raiders and monsters. Black Sheep Island takes a defensive stance on any foreign conflict and is very capable of defending against raiders due to its high technology level and fortifications.

Culture

They like fishing + farming Kelp + Berries.. And are possessive of Poppies. #We remember the War of Roses (Poppies).

A cautious yet organized people - they have managed to build a beautiful stone brick wall all the way around their island for protection from mobs.

There The many people of the island are manyhomogenously builderscautious inabout conflict and have emerged no distinct culture, mainly regarding the reason for their rankssuccess withas a strongsociety emphasisto onits buildingcommunal beautiful structures and terraforming the landscape.

This Banner was created to represent the rising of the new dawn with the pink sky with the golden beaches of our island when we first arrived - with the iconic black sheep front and center to represent our people.

There is a variation of the banner that has a black sheep with white wool instead of a grey sheep with black wool.
